Abstract

In Japan, one of the construction industry’s issues is the shortage of workers. The factors are that wages and social status are low, and there is no system to evaluate their abilities. CCUS started operation in 2019 as a measure to solve them. CCUS is a system established with reference to CSCS in the UK. However, there are some differences. The purposes are to study them and systems related to CSCS in the British construction industry. Therefore, it can be used for future Japanese institution. In particular, the apprenticeship and the Levy which don’t exist in Japan are important.
