Abstract

This paper reports development of novel micro fluidic device using surface acoustic wave (SAW). The device can control micro channel flow with flow rate ranging from 1.5 to 700 nl/min. We found that two different driving modes exist depending on the channel height. Also reported here is how liquid droplet motion changes by experimental conditions.
