Abstract

This paper deals with a three-phase to singlephase power conversion system using a matrix converter topology. In order to compensate for instantaneous power unbalance occurring between three-phase circuits and singlephase circuits, a small reactor is installed into a matrix converter. The proposed circuit and control diagrams as well as some important simulation results are described herein.
