Abstract

A circularly polarized (CP) crank line antenna is designed for forming a wide beam which is tilted from the broadside direction. The antenna has only one radiation cell, and its line lengths are chosen so that a CP wave is obtained in the tilted beam direction. The radiation characteristics are evaluated on the basis of the numerically determined current distribution.
