Abstract
A controller failure time analysis problem for linear time-invariant H∞ control systems was discussed. It was shown using a piecewise Lyapunov function that if the unavailability rate of the controller was smaller than a specified constant then the system achieved a reasonable weighted H∞ disturbance attenuation level. The weighted H∞ disturbance attenuation approached normal H∞ disturbance attenuation if the average time interval between controller failures (ATBCF) was sufficiently large.
