Abstract

This paper describes an easy to use soil nutrient analyzing system that helps farmers to make quick decision on applying fertilizer to their crops. It consists of Raspberry Pi processing unit and a set of sensors. It determines the content of Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potassium contents of a soil sample and displays with additional information via a smart phone or a computer.
