Abstract

This research is to develop a system to determine causes of deterioration from such phenomena as crack formation and surface deterioration in concrete structures. From these estimated causes, it is possible to predict the deterioration and determine the deterioration level. Concrete structures deteriorate due to various causes. However, in this research, corrosion of steel bars embedded in concrete is mainly considered. The development of this system will enable the calculation of the stress capacity of concrete structures from various parameters, such as environmental conditions, material, type of structure. In addition, a method of classification of deterioration level by visual inspection was developed.
