Abstract
This paper outlines five different methods which can be employed to obtain and process ultrasonic tomograms of B and C scan data, in order to achieve more definitive delineation of pathological processes. If these computerized techniques are refined and used routinely, it will lead to improved diagnostic evaluation of tumors, early detection, accurate definition, and delineation of adjacent structures.
