Abstract

In recent years, the number of dementia illness has been increasing around the world. Dementia disease can be treated if it has been early detected. In previous work, we have developed an early detection system for dementia. Behaviors in the initial stage of dementia are many and diverse from designated to subjects, therefore, in this study, we collected data from different subjects and, we considered lifestyle backgrounds. Sensors that collect behaviors in households created in previous research sometimes failed to detect under the influence of the environment. Therefore, in this research, we improved the sensor device so as not to be influenced by the environment, and made it possible to accumulate data of persons suffered from dementia that had not been accumulated.
