Abstract

CO2 reduction is the biggest challenge in the world, and the vehicles play an important role. Regulations governing CO2 emission reduction for vehicles will be tightened in the future. Automotive manufacturers design EVs, PHVs, HEVs, FCVs to meet CO2 regulation. However, vehicles with the internal combustion engine will continue to retain a large market share in the near future. This report presents recent technology trends in fuel economy for electrical and conventional vehicles.
