Abstract

Our developing fine mold-stamping system is introduced with comments on the controllability of temperature and loading histories. Ultrahigh frequency induction heating unit is accommodated for rapid heating. Since only a small-sized mold unit is heated during mold-stamping, energy loss in heating is much saved and high quenching rate is also attained by the present system. Owing to fine displacement control, any loading sequence is programmable to CNC disk-top stamping system. This disk-top mold-stamping system is used in the single mode. Both PMMA (Poly-Methyl-Meta-Acrylic) and oxide glass sheets are employed as a work material for fine imprinting experiment.
