Abstract
Effect of anionic surfactants on the cyclic voltammetric response of Fe(CN)63- at a gold electrode modified with self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of 11-amino-1-undecanethiol hydrochloride was examined. As the concentration of anionic surfactants increases, the currents of [Fe(CN)6]3- reduction decreases and cyclic voltammograms become irreversible. The currents of [Fe(CN)6] 3- reduction depended on the concentration of anionic surfactants in the 10-6 M range.
