Abstract
The polarized Raman spectra of NdBa2Cu3O 7-δ single crystals heated at ∼900 °C under various oxygen partial pressures (PO2) have been investigated. It was found that the linewidth of Ba mode sharpens and the relative intensity of this mode is enhanced with increasing PO2. These observations show that such a high-temperature heat-treatment changes the distribution of Nd-rich 123 clusters.
