Abstract

We proposed a new human interface system for controlling a mobile robot. In this interface, a human operator can indicate the vehicle path on the image of front of view of the vehicle, by touching the panel on the display monitor. It is expected that this method makes operation of the mobile robot or vehicle easier. We are implementing this interface on our mobile robot to evaluate it. In this paper, we report its design and implementation.
