Abstract

The concept of input-to-state synchronization (ISS) is introduced for complex networks, in which each node is affected by a mutually different input. The time-varying delay is investigated as a intrinsic characteristic of each node. Based on the reciprocally convex approach and the linear matrix inequality technique, a delay-dependent condition is derived to guarantee the ISS of complex networks. Thus, the difference of any pair of nodes remain bounded when the inputs are bounded. The effectiveness of the theoretical results is verified by a simulation example.
