Abstract
The peak effect in melt-processed oxide superconductor crystals with varying initial Sm/Eu ratios was modified and was investigated. A linear-temperature-dependent magnetization peak Bp(T) was unveiled by the experiments. It was found that the modulation of flux pinning was due to the controlled compositional fluctuation.
