On developing an adaptive tutoring system with formative assessment for mobile learning

Abstract

In this article, it is shown that how to generate a formative assessment using Educator's knowledge structure map, Learner's knowledge structure map and the relative distance which measures the difference between the machine generated solution and user's solution evaluated at some point. Then hoping to be used widely by many learners, an adaptive tutoring system with formative assessment is implemented as an web application.
