Abstract

Transport properties and tunneling characteristics of 45° asymmetric grain boundary junctions, fabricated in YBa2Cu3O7-δ films grown by liquid phase epitaxy, have been studied. For selected samples, with very low zero field critical current density, a conductance peak in the dI/dV vs V curves has been observed below Tc. The position and amplitude of this peak depend on the magnetic field and temperature, indicating its superconducting origin. Strong oxygen doping effect on the gap energy was also found.
