Abstract
A restriction on relaxation times derived from the Lindblad-type master equations was discussed for two-level systems. It was shown that none of the inverse relaxation times could be greater than the sum of the others. It was found that the relation could be experimentally proved or disproved and could be considered to be a measure for or against the applicability of the Lindblad-type master equations.
