Abstract
The carrier spin dynamics in self-assembled InAs quantum dots (QD) was investigated using spin dependent time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) measurements. The spin dynamics was observed in ground state and second state without disturbance of inhomogeneous broadening in highly uniform QDs. The spin relaxation time in ground state was 1.0 ns and second state was 0.6 ns. The results show decrease in spin relaxation time from 1.1 ns at 10 K to 200 ps at 130 K.
