Abstract

This work is concerned with the profiles of solutions for stationary problems between the degenerate diffusion of the p-Laplacian and a reaction with an inhomogeneous saturation value. It is shown that if a parameter for the diffusion is sufficiently small, then the solution attains the saturation value of the reaction in each region where the saturation value is constant. The associated evolutional problem is also mentioned.
