Abstract

Support system for handwriting has been developed. Users can write beautiful balanced strings by tracing strings projected to a paper. Only two operations are required for the users. (1) Specify 4 corners of the paper in the captured image using a GUI. (2) Type and set strings. We also realized two kinds of functions to automatically correct the projection position of the strings, one is for the paper's movement during handwriting, and another is for the error in the projection position due to lens distortion, etc. Experimental results show usefulness of this system.
