Abstract
Joining of different Y-Ba-Cu-O bulk samples was performed using Er-Ba-Cu-O and Ag added Y-Ba-Cu-O sintered plates. In both cases, a small dip in the trapped field distribution was observed at the joint region due to the poor superconducting properties. However, the trapped field distribution of the sample joined with Ag added Y-Ba-Cu-O using refined Y2BaCuO 5 powders showed a single peak, which was similar to that of a single grain bulk superconductor.
