A circularly polarized loop antenna without perturbation segments

抄録

A loop antenna radiates a circularly polarized (CP) wave, when two perturbation segments are added to the loop [1-3], as shown in Fig. 1(a). The antenna has an advantage over a circular patch antenna in that it has a smaller circumference [2]. A smaller antenna size is suitable for use as an array element, from the point of view of there being lower mutual effects among the elements [2], [3].
