抄録

Transient vibration of an ultrasonic welding tool is computed in order to estimate the fracture of the tool. Equations for this analysis have been formulated by means of the finite-element method (FEM) and Newmark-ß method. With the use of these equations, the transient stress distribution of the ultrasonic welding tool driven by a bolt-clamped Langevin-type transducer is calculated. Then, the effect of the transient state of the tool is investigated.
