N2 - In this article, the authors report on a practical application of mobile robot playing an active part in human daily life. The application we propose in this study, is about a mobile robot operating in an office environment. The robot interacts and takes frequent orders from humans via a computer network and then navigates through a real world environment to provide them stationeries as items to rent and later on to return back. We present the details of our mobile robot application, our approach and its implementation and, yet show some experimental results.
