In this chapter, we would like to introduce a bio-sniffer and a sniff-cam for monitoring of human volatiles, such as exhaled breath and skin gas. There are various volatile organic components (VOCs) related to metabolism and diseases. We focused enzyme-based biochemical gas sensors, which we called the «bio-sniffer, » for gaseous components. Hence, highly sensitive and highly selective bio-sniffers utilizing enzyme specificity have been developed and demonstrated in biomedical and health care applications as biomarkers of related diseases. In addition, on the basis of the bio-sniffer, we have developed a novel imaging system «sniff-cam» for various VOCs, which can image distribution and concentration of gaseous components. This system has the advantages of monitoring spatiotemporal information, which is emitted VOCs from human breath and skin surface.
