The superconducting properties of carbon-substituted MgB2 single crystals are studied. We found that C-substitution modifies superconducting properties such as anisotropy and irreversibility field. The highest H c2 can be achieved by the C-substitution around 3-5% per B-atom. In the superconductivity transition, the resistivity is almost ohmic; this is remarkable contrast to the case of C-free crystals.
