N2 - We have demonstrated carrier-envelope phase (CEP) stabilized chirped-pulse amplification system scalable to higher energy. The system is composed of a carrier-envelope-offset phase stabilized oscillator, pulse selection electronics, a grating-based pulse stretcher, a regenerative amplifier, a multi-pass amplifier, and a grating-based pulse compressor. The stabilization of CEP after amplification was confirmed by measuring the self-referencing spectral interferometry. The effect of beam pointing on the carrier-envelope phase fluctuation was investigated. This result indicates that the CEP stabilized amplification up to joule level is achievable by a commonly used chirped-pulse amplification systems using grating-based pulse stretcher and compressor.
