N2 - The permeation properties of the silica based membranes prepared by the counter diffusion CVD method were studied. The CH4/C2H6 permeation ratio through the ETMOS membrane was 37:1. The C3H6/C3H8 permeation ratio through the HTMOS/O3 membrane was 414:1. For C6H6/C6H12 system, the total flux 5.6 × 10-3 kg/sq m-hr with the separation facto of 53 was obtained through the DPhDMOS derived membrane. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 25th Annual Saudi-Japan Symposium on Catalysts in Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals 2015 (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia 12/7-8/2015).
