N2 - Longitudinal-field muon-spin-relaxation measurements have revealed inhomogeneous distribution of the internal magnetic field at temperatures above the bulk superconducting (SC) transition temperature, Tc, in slightly overdoped Bi2Sr2Ca1-xYxCu2O8+δ. The distribution width of the internal magnetic field, Δ, evolves continuously with decreasing temperature toward Tc. The origin of the increase in Δ is discussed in terms of the generation of SC domains in a sample.
