N2 - Flux distributions obtained after field-cooling of melt-processed superconductors are analyzed using magneto-optic imaging. We propose such flux patterns as an ideal means to study the interactions between the flux line lattice and the microstructure of the sample as a fully-penetrated state can be reached even in bulk samples. Furthermore, in remnant states obtained after field-cooling, the presence of weak channels in the sample is scanned if the applied field was large enough.
