N2 - Gold seeds of 10 nm in diameter are arranged on a nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane by centrifugal force. The nanoholes are about 30 nm in diameter and the span between the two neighboring holes centers is about 100 nm. The hole size and the span length can be controlled by changing the oxidizing voltage or the electrolyte. Results shows that the gold clusters have a tendency to form the same pattern as the nanoholes and are arranged regularly.
