B* at which magnetization hysteresisd isappears fo r three kinds of samples, MPMG samples with and without 211 phase and single crystals by the flux method 2, is shown in Fig. 2. Measurements up to 40T were made in long pulsed magnetic fields4 . At lower temperatures the difference among samples bccomcs indistinct.T his suggests that at low temperatures, B* is close to He2, independent of the magnitude of the hysteresis which is affected by the flux creep or the flux flow. In conclusion, we have measured the full magnetization curves for YBa2Cu3OT_x in very high magnetic fields up to 100T. We find that in the case of B parallel to the ab plane, large magnetization hysteresis persists up to 100T. This work is partially supported by NEDO.

N2 - We have obtained the full magnetization curve of high Jc samples YBa2Cu3O7-x grown by the MPMG method up to 100T. For magnetic fields parallel to the ab plane, we found that the magnetization hysteresis persists in the field as high as 100T, indicating a large critical current even at such high fields.
