N2 - The angular distribution of desorbing N 2 was studied in transient N 2 O decomposition on Rh(1 1 0) by both pressure jump and temperature-programmed decomposition (TPD). Even at 60 K, N 2 O was decomposed, emitting N 2 along either around 68° or 30° off normal towards the [0 0 1] direction. In the latter TPD, N 2 desorption yielded five peaks in the range of 70-160 K. Four of them involved desorption in similarly inclined ways.
