abstract = "In this paper, the performance evaluation of a solid oxide fuel cellmicro gas turbine hybrid power generation system under the part-load operation by using the system analysis method was studied. The present analysis code includes a distributed parameter model of the cell stack module. The standard power output of the whole system is set at 250kW. The variable turbine rotational speed operation scheme is adopted for the part-load operation. Throughout the analyses, it is clarified that the power generation efficiency of the hybrid system decreases together with power output. The major reason for the performance degradation is the operating temperature reduction in the SOFC module, which is caused by decreasing the fuel supply and the heat generation in the cells.",
