N2 - The magnetism of deuterated κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br, which was situated in the vicinity of a superconductor. antiferromagnet phase boundary, was investigated by magnetization and muon spin rotation (μSR) measurements. Magnetic ordering was observed by μSR measurement under the zero-field condition. Internal fields at muon sites were lower than those of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)2]Cl. The magnetic transition temperature TN was found to be increased by applying a magnetic field in the magnetization measurements. These two measurements enabled us to conclude that TN at zero field was 11.8 ± 0.7 K, which was significantly lower than the value reported in NMR studies (14-15 K). This finding suggests that this material undergoes Neel order and Mott transition at very close but separated temperatures.
