抄録

Although a number of different solar collector systems have been proposed they may be classified basically into the following two types; non-concentrating type solar collector and concentrating type solar collector. In the present paper, a three-dimensional geometrical analysis of the optimum shape of a fixed reflector is presented with respect to parabolic and partially circular cross-sections of the reflectors. The average concentrated energy flux has also been calculated considering the solar radiation distribution from the sky so as to be able to discuss the geometrical collector performance.
