N2 - This paper presents a method, by which displays selectively-blurred images to the users wearing a VR Head Mount Display (HMD) in order to prevent VR sickness. Our proposed method blurs displayed images selectively based on length of local motion in a field of view, i.e., length of optical flow. In addition to that, it takes into account the user's gaze point in order to maintain rich presence of the displayed images. In this paper, as focusing on preventing the VR sickness, our proposed method was experimented in a virtual space using participants. An effect of the VR sickness prevention was confirmed from experimental results.
